Know Your President Neelu Khanna Rtn Neelu Khanna, current President of Rotary Club of Delhi North, born and bought up in Amristar, Punjab. She did her schooling there & did her graduation & Post Graduation from Punjab University .She has been an active member of Rotary Club Delhi North for years, a Major Donor level III. She has been actively serving the society for a long time. She was District Chairman of Inner Wheel , Distt. 301, in 2014- 15. During her Chairmanship tenure , She installed a huge manufacturing unit of sanitary napkins nd started working on Women Empowerment . Also she got the opportunity to host the mega event : Darpan - 60 years Existence Of Innerwheel in India , which was attended by more than 900 Delegates from neighbouring countries and within India . She is also the member & Past President of Innerwheel Club Delhi North. Being a very religious, tender -hearted and generous personality, she is also associated with other social and religious organizations. On professional front, she is a President/Partner of a Company named 'Apex International’ a family owned business, engaged in the manufacturing and export of Deepwell Water Hand Pumps and Cold Chain Equipments approved by UNICEF and WHO. She has travelled over more 60 countries all over the world attending various Officials Conferences and Seminars. She is married to Dr. Lalit Khanna ,District Governor (3012) in RI year 2022-23, is also a member and Past Presidest of Rotary Club of Delhi North. He is also a Major Donor IIIrd Level .Rtn Lalit Khanna is the CEO/Chairman of Apex Group of companies having an experience of 50 years in the Water industry. The couple is blessed with two Sons, the elder one Sanchit Khanna, Past President of Rotary Club Noida City and Partner in Apex International married to Rtn Neha Khanna ,Past President of Rotary Club Delhi Superstars who also manages the family business. Both of them are blessed with two kids Naysa and Shaun. Their younger son, Rachit Khanna ,a Director in Barclays bank, New York is blissfully married to Dr Paulina Khanna, a Chiropractor, having two kids -Milan and Alia. All the members in the family including grandchildren are Paul Harris fellows. Neelu is a very dedicated, diligent and energetic person who is equally, committed to her family as well as to the upliftment of the society. Her motto in life is "WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS"
